On-camera hosting, videography and production
My experience with producing dynamic, shareable video content (that attracts eyeballs) has been fulfilling both from a creative and adventure standpoint (think: learning to pilot a plane, cliff camping and parasailing, to name a few). I’ve been pumping out experiential travel videos for usatoday.com and visitorlando.com since 2012. This includes scripting, juggling logistics, serving as on-camera talent and collaborating on the editing process. I also film and license international travel content for clients like Matador Network.
I have on-camera experience with national television shows, too. Please see my video hosting reel here. To book for TV appearances or to partner on video production, please e-mail me at sarah@sarahsekula.com.
Writing
As a journalist with almost 20 years of editorial experience, I’ve covered everything from business topics to the Quidditch World Championships (yes, it’s a real sport, and it’s surprisingly awesome), but my areas of specialty are adventure travel, health/wellness and fitness. I write regularly for USA Today, CNN.com, NBC.com, foxnews.com, espnW.com, GoEscape, Green Living, Scuba Diving, Matador Network, Modern Woman, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons and Islands.
I also enjoy creating content-marketing articles for companies large and small. Clients include Walt Disney World, Florida Hospital and Hilton. What’s the big deal about content marketing? Glad you asked. It helps boost companies rankings on Google. Big time. Even the New York Times says so.
Sponsorships and social campaigns
Have a social campaign in the works? I’d love to be part of it (assuming your brand values align with mine), whether it’s through a unique branded article or video, taking over your Instagram account for the day, hosting a Twitter chat, serving as a brand ambassador or conducting a giveaway. Let me know how I may help.
