Thanks for stopping by! I’m a Maui-based adventure travel journalist, photographer, athlete and on-camera host. My hope is that this little corner of the interwebs will spark an interest in travel or fitness, give you epic ideas for your next adventure (cliff camping anyone?) and, most of all, inspire.

As a multimedia storyteller since 1999, my job is to scour the globe for the amazing and obscure, interview people I admire (Kerri Walsh Jennings, Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz to name a few) and film and photograph some of the most incredible places on earth. When I’m not zigzagging around the planet—learning to pilot an airplane above Tampa Bay, swimming with sharks in Tahiti or spending some QT with penguins in Antarctica—I’m writing about unusual excursions, fitness, health/wellness and extraordinary people.

I’m big on exploring and anything requiring movement, so I feel fortunate to have a career that incorporates my passions like surfing, climbing, hiking and scuba diving. So far, assignments for Smithsonian Magazine, Travel + Leisure, USA Today, CNN.com, NBC.comfoxnews.com, espnW.com, Modern Woman, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons and Islands have taken me to 34 different countries on all seven continents.
